Female Personal Assistant - £12.00 per hour

Do you have experience of or would like to start working in the care sector? Previous experience in the field of care is preferred, we are looking for someone who is bubbly, outgoing open minded, and willing to work within a family home.

 

Hours Available - shifts to be covered

  • Friday 9am - 4pm (Day shift)

  • Sat/Sun 10am - 4pm (Day shift) - alternate weekends

  • Weekday evenings 7.30pm - 11pm

 

Job Description

  • support with every day living tasks

  • personal-care, which includes help with showering, dressing and transferring to the toilet.

  • you will assist with household chores such as laundry, keeping living spaces clean and meal prep

 

Skills & Experience Required

  • Moving and handling training preferred but full training can be provided

  • Experience in providing personal care preferred

 

Zoe (the employer) is a friendly and vibrant young woman, who also enjoys getting out and about and spending time with friends and family. A clean UK manual driving license is essential as you will be required to drive the employers Motability vehicle. Zoe is starting Riding for the disabled, so someone who is an animal lover would be ideal for this post. Zoe occasionally attends hospital appointments in Glasgow, so someone who has knowledge of driving in a city environment is preferred, but not essential. Applicant must be comfortable around dogs, and all aspects of their care.

You may also be required to accompany the Zoe and her family on holiday. This would be for one to 2 weeks at different times of the year payment for this period can be discussed in more detail at the time. You will be joining a small but friendly and supportive team. PVG scheme membership is required for this role, costs are covered by employer.
