Managed Account Service

What is a Managed Account?

A Managed Account is a fully managed service for those in receipt of a Direct Payment from their Local Authority (Council).  It includes opening a dedicated bank account for the Direct Payment to be paid into. We manage this bank account on behalf of the person receiving care.  Our Managed Account Service also includes our Payroll Service.

What we do?

  • Open a bank account in your name for the Direct Payment to be paid into
  • Operate the bank account on your behalf
  • Process payroll for your PA’s
  • Pay your PA’s wages
  • Pay HMRC monies due (Tax and NI)
  • Act as your Agent with HMRC
  • Act as your Agent with the Pensions Regulator
  • Setup Pension Scheme if required (NEST)
  • Pay Pension contributions
  • Complete audit (monitoring) report for Local Authority

Costs for Managed Accounts (ALL prices quoted now include VAT)

  • £189 setup fee
  • £57.00 4-weekly fee (up to 4 workers, additional payslips £2.50 each)

Pension Scheme Setup

  • £79 setup fee

Managed Account Agreement

Click on the Managed Account Agreement Form below.  This Form can be completed on your mobile phone, tablet or computer.  Once complete press submit and we will receive your completed Agreement.  We will contact you directly to discuss the next steps.

If you plan on employing PAs you should also complete an HMRC 64-8 form which authorises us to open a Payroll Scheme on your behalf.  We have pre-filled this form with our details so all you have to do is enter your details and sign/date the form. This is a PDF document which should be downloaded to your device (e.g. mobile, tablet or computer).  You will need to use Adobe Acrobat Reader app to complete the form.  This is a free to download and use app (Android and iOS) .  If saving the form to a computer you should also use Adobe Acrobat Reader and select the Fill & Sign option on the menu to allow you to enter text and sign the form.  If you don’t have Adobe Reader on your computer you can download this for free. Workplace Pensions

  • We are registered with the Pensions Regulator and will act as your Agent.
  • Our payroll software is compliant with workplace pensions.
  • We issue relevant letters such as eligibility for a workplace pension and auto-enrolment
  • We use NEST Pensions 
  • Ongoing administration of Pension contributions is included within Managed Account Fee

We have a flat fee for (up to 4 workers). You pay one fully inclusive price for your Managed Account Service.
