Self Directed Support
Self Directed Support (SDS) allows individuals who require additional support to choose how their support is delivered. This is beyond just direct payments, empowering individuals to decide how much ongoing control and responsibility they want over their own support arrangements.
Partners in Personalisation CIC promote choice and control to enable individuals to live their lives their way. Self Directed Support can improve the lives of not only the individual requiring additional support, but also their families and carers.
We are happy to discuss the choices available within Self Directed Support. We will provide you with information to let you make the best choices for you and your family. Please use the contact us button at the top of the page to discuss further.
your life, your way
Partners in Personalisation CIC will help and support you along the way.
We are here to support you to make the right choices even if your choice happens to be go-carting!!
Option 1 - Taking control of the entire budget by means of a Direct Payment to allow you to arrange your own support.
You can use your budget to meet agreed outcomes such as supporting you to attend college or work placements.
We provide a payroll service to help you take care of all your statutory duties as an employer.
You are in control! You decide how, where and when you receive your support.
Partners in Personalisation CIC support individuals, families and carers throughout Scotland - all age groups.
Your local authority will assess your individual needs and allocate a personal budget. You can then decide how you are going to use this.
It can be one of 4 ways:
Take control of the entire budget and arrange your own support
Engage a service provider you have chosen (Individual Service Fund)
Allow the local authority to arrange your care and support
A combination of the above.
Please contact us if you would like to discuss what these options could mean for you! We're happy to arrange a home visit whenever suits you.
