Our payroll service is designed to support Personal Employers who are in receipt of a Direct Payment.

Our supportive Payroll Service provides the tools to ensure you can be a good Personal Employer.  We act as your Agent with HMRC and The Pensions Regulator. We ensure that all your statutory obligations as a personal employer are met. Ongoing support includes help with advertising for workers, safe recruiting, interview assistance, templates for job offers, references and contracts.

Costs for Payroll Support Service – ALL prices now include VAT

  • £159 – One off set up fee
  • £39.00 – 4 weekly fee (up to 4 workers, additional payslip £2.50 each)

Payroll Agreement & Registration

You can complete our Payroll Agreement by clicking on the “Payroll Agreement Form” button and entering the appropriate details in form.  Please note the form should be completed by the person receiving care or an appropriate representative.  If the person receiving care is a child under 18 years of age or is an adult who lacks capacity, the form should be completed by an appropriate representative.  Please contact us if you require any assistance with completing the form.

Once submitted this form comes directly to us.

Payroll Agreement Form

To register your payroll scheme we require the HMRC 64-8 Client Authorisation Form to be completed.

This is a PDF document which can be completed using the free Fill & Sign app on a mobile phone.

Workplace Pensions

  • We are registered with the Pensions Regulator.
  • Our payroll software is compliant with workplace pensions.
  • Issue relevant letters such as eligibility for workplace pensions and auto-enrolment

Our Payroll Support Service includes everything you need to help you find the right staff and be a good employer.

We have a flat fee for (up to 4 workers). You pay one fully inclusive price for your Payroll Support Service.

  • Interview assistance
  • Templates (Timesheets, mileage sheets, reference request form)
  • Statement of Main Terms (Contracts)
  • Arranging Employers Liability Insurance
  • Supplying PVG forms

Employing care workers – safe recruiting

There are a few safeguards you should be aware of when employing care workers. All care workers should be a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG Scheme). Before starting work, they should either complete an application to Join the PVG Scheme or complete an existing PVG Scheme member application for their new role working with a personal employer. We can assist you with this process.

It is also important to carry out reference checks prior to giving any care worker a start date. We have reference templates that can be sent to previous employers for them to complete.

Employment support

Once you have identified a care worker you wish to employ, we can provide lots of information and assistance. All workers should receive a copy of their contract of employment prior to starting work. We have contract templates for this purpose and can help complete them with you.

Employers Liability Insurance

We will arrange your employer liability insurance on your behalf. This is a statutory requirement to have this insurance. You will have access to a Legal Helpline 24/7 should you ever need to contact hem about any concerns or issues with your care workers. We are also able to contact the Helpline on your behalf.

Job Adverts – Advertising

We can help you put an advert together and advertise on your behalf. We have a Jobs board on our website plus we can advertise on various other place including, My Job Scotland, Find a Job, social media (Facebook, X) and other free resources. Some websites charge a fee to advertise vacancies, this is an option we can discuss if required.  We operate a fair usage policy with advertising.  We reserve the right to charge a small admin fee of for this service. We will advise if this applies prior to advertising on your behalf.
